Sharing Books winner

Well, when I offered to re-gift my copy of “Another Roadside Attraction,” I knew I was going to have a tough decision on who finally ended up with the book.

I’m happy to announce that the book will be going to a guy named Aaron. The reason? The guy has given me tons of free bootlegs over the years. He once convinced a band I love to wish my wife a happy marriage and then gave us the bootleg of the show as a gift. What’s more, he’s started making his bootlegs available online. If you’re into the kind of music I am, you should check out his site. For instance, his 2007 year in review bootleg compilation has live music from Wilco, Blue Mountain, Spoon, Robbie Fulks, and Yonder Mountain String Band. Dude sees and records a lot of shows.

Aaron lives in Columbia, MO and records a great many of his shows at one of my favorite venues in the world, The Blue Note. Any time I get nostalgic, I just have to pop in some of Aaron’s stuff and it takes me back to college.

So, thanks Aaron. E-mail me your address and I’ll ship the book this week.
