Not-so-breaking news

Since a lot of you have been asking.

I’m not moving to Canada.

I’m not moving anywhere right now.

I’m not going to write about why…right now.

And, yeah, I’m fine with it.

Just thought some of you might wanna know.

But that’s not to say that it won’t happen at some point further down the line. No one can predict the future – that’s the beauty of life. Some chapters in your life can unexpectedly end, whilst others could stay with you until the day you die. Moving house, however, is something that is guaranteed to happen for a lot of people. Regardless of whether you are required to move around a lot for your job, you just want a change, or if you want to travel the world, looking for a new home to build your roots are all part of the process.

And everyone’s experiences will differ. Some people will decide to go it alone and sell their home fast for money. Others may make the decision to enlist the help of the best realtors in Surrey if moving to Canada is something that is in your immediate future, unlike it is in mine. I think I would decide to use the latter option if I wanted to move to Canada right at this exact minute. Whilst I always fantasize about moving there, I would be lying if I said that I knew anything about the country, and I know even less when it comes to the real estate market, so you could be sure that I’d need all the help I could get.

Even thinking about it now is making me wonder if putting this move on hold is the best idea for me and my loved ones. But it is. When, or if we do ever make the move, I want it to be because we are ready to start an amazing new life in Canada. And when that happens, I will be enlisting the help of every professional that I can get my hands on to help make the move as easy as possible.

If you’ve ever made the move to Canada before, I would love to know more about your experiences and how, if you did, hiring a professional real estate agent made all the difference.

    Congrats sir.

Home should never be messed with. Despite my bitching about the weather here, I’d probably never leave.

Look at the bright side. You will get to enjoy all the repairs you have made to the house.

    Hoooray!

We get to keep two cool folks and their kid here in town! There aren’t enough of us, you know. Verdict is still out on the coolness factor of the kid, since I haven’t read his blog yet.

Welcome home Mr. and Mrs. Otis.

Canada? WTF? Clearly San Diego is the better choice. Housing prices are falling, the weather is awesome, and we’re just 4 1/2-5 hours from Vegas.

    But, whatever.

I won’t ask any questions. Nunnamine
