Old and tired forever

There used to be a time when I would return from an epic trip across the country with friends and write out every single detail of the experience. It’s now been 36 hours since I got back from The Bash and I’m still too old and tired to properly explain what happen. And even if I could explain it, I’m not sure I would. It’s one of those things that’s simply cool as a self-contained experience and described as “fun.”

Finally, I managed to have as many good conversations as belly laughs. It’s great so be a part of such of diverse group of people. Now, it’s good to be back home with my family and getting back to real life for a while.

The title of this post explains the now-necessary recovery time from such a weekend. If I manage to make it to Las Vegas in December, I suspect I’ll be fully recovered by then. In the meantime, thanks to Al for a great weekend.

I grok this totally and completely. Thank god I have a day off; a day spent in bed should make all well with my world again.

One of the Bash highlights for me was our conversation in the bar about writing and life. Thank you.
