My younger woman

She ran from me for nine months and realized I probably wasn’t going away. That was around this time 13 years ago.

Since then I’m fairly certain the woman who became wife has kept me sane, out of jail, and on track for whatever good my life has to offer. In the meantime, she’s managed to stay beautiful, birth my two sons, and remain younger than me.

One of the longer running jokes among my blogger friends is that we all tend to marry way above our heads. I am, perhaps, the most shining example.

Happy birthday, baby.
