The moms in my life
I’m fortunate enough to be able to celebrate Mother’s Day 2009 with both of the moms in my life. One helped make me who I am and the other helps me make sure I don’t mess it all up. I love them both more than I’ll ever be able to tell them.
I wiill be spending the day largely offline (although a giant brunch at Larkins is slowing me down enough that I could spend a couple hours doing nothing but sleeping or messing around on the computer).
For those of you who are still lucky enough to have moms in your life, make sure you at least give them a call today. There isn’t much that makes sense in the world. A good mom makes the insanity tolerable.
Let see? Ladies better looking than you qualify for. Father’s facial hair dominates. Sons sparkling personality overshadows. But, then, you are the Keno Krayon King — but I wouldn’t initialize that brag in your country.
Glad you got to spend time with those moms. Even better to know you appreciate them so much.
Otis- have your dad grow that goat out into a little white pointy tip, then with that smile he’d look exactly like the snowman narrator from the classic claymation Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer. Can he do a passable Burle Ives voice?…
